This painting was originally done as an oil and was painted plein air. It is a house and barn in WV near our family's weekend farm.

This painting is an original oil on canvas. I started the painting outdoors and then finished it later in the studio. I loved the exposed roots of this old tree, growing out of the side of the creek.

Canvas measures 9"x12" and makes a nice companion piece to Little Waterfall.
